The week before the newly built Öresundsbron/The Öresund bridge was opened for traffic there was an inline skate race across the bridge, 'Brorullet'. 17 km with start on the Danish side and finish on the Swedish side.
Chad Hedrick won the race. According to the not reliable official result list 5706 skaters reached the finish line, someone who analysed the data found at least 6200 skates.
