Solskenet, August 2002 (70 km). The leading pack ca 6 km after the start. The race started in nice weather but after a while it started to rain.

Photo shot at 58,5 km, me in blue with green helmet. This was the eleventh time I skated after the operation.
Result (total, all classes): nr 72 of the 846 participants that reached the finish line on this rainy day with many accidents.

For me the season ended with participation in the Eurocity Marathon in Frankfurt, Germany, (Oct 2002). I ended up as nr 26 (of totally 1138 skaters) and won my ageclass.
