This is probably the best place to skate in Ottawa.

Sunday Bikedays. On Sundays Rockcliffe Parkway (the road) is open to bikers and skaters
from 9 am to 1 pm. It has exellent asphalt.
Sunday Bikedays on Rockcliffe Parkway: Between the Canada Aviation and Space Museum
and St. Joseph Boulevard. You can easily go here on skates from the city center.

were almost no cars.
