Ottawa River Pathway in the western direction, May 2012.
Skating with Michael Garvin on the part of the Pathway that is on the western side of
the city center. Nice asphalt and nice scenery.
All photos except for one are taken by me.
View to the west from the Parliament tower.
We met at Louise Bourgeois spider in front of the National Gallery of Canada.
(The photo is a montage and is not attempting to be anything else.)
Passing by the Parliament.
Me and Michael Garvin. Last time we met we were fighting in the Berlin Inline Marathon
ending up on the 10th and 13th place in the "non professional class". Now we are just
two old recreational skaters.
Canada Goose is not only the name of a jacket.
A stop at John Felice Ceprano's rock sculpture project.
(Photo: M. Garvin with my camera.)
Along Ottawa River.
Stop at Andrew Haydon Park.
My polite guide was wearing his nicest t-shirt.
At the turning point (March Road/Kanata)...
...now starting the same way back.
Site for Mike's interval training.
Back in the city.
The tour ended with pasta...
...and an ice cream. (Notre Dame in the background.)
