Saturday 11 September - Race day

I have no photos from the race since I was busy skating but DuffManOhYea has been kind
to lend me this one:

At about half the race two skaters fell in front of me and I fell over them. I used up all my
spare energy to catch up with the pack again and after that I was happy just to be able
to remain in the back of it for the rest of the race. I finished second last in the pack.

It cleared up and the last skaters could finish on almost dry asphalt.

Christina Wahlstedt from Stockholm Speedskaters ended up as nr 10 in age class F 50-54.

Ulf Haase, Holly and Herb Gayle.

Sven Rudberg from Stockholm Speedskaters ended up as nr 8 in Elite Men Grand Veteran.

We were five skaters from Stockholm Speedskaters that went from Sweden to participate:
Ulf Haase, Christina Wahlstedt, Patrik Permats, Sven Rudberg and Anders Lindström.
