Egyptian Marathon, 42 km, Luxor, 12 February 2010
Inline skating
For years I have wanted to participate in this race but the ice skating season always kept me in Sweden. Now it was time for a change. A very nice event with lots of local residents watching and cheering.
Picking up the number bibs the day before the race.
Unfortunately not many skaters had entered, in all 20 skaters stood on the starting line the next day.

The fame lasted only for a short while.
After the prize ceremony I was invited to go with the german group from TNS* to the boat they had rented to bring them back to the hotel where we all were staying. *Tuesday Night Skating (TNS), Frankfurt a/M. (Opens in separate window.)
