Those who skated the first part of the tour from Neuenburg am Rhein to Seyssel/Roll'Athlon:
Ulf Haase, Jürgen Lutz, Christian Horstmann, Stanislav Pokorny, Ralf Dopf, Michael Seitz, Anita Zimmermann and
Bernd Gutöhrlein.

I was the only one in our group that hadn't participated in Roll'Athlon before.

Day 4. Roll'Athlon 101 km race.
It was no surprise that I couldn't keep up with the tempo of the pack I joined at the start, I lost them after 25 km and
skated the remaining 76 km alone...

After the Roll'Athlon race four of the skaters went home. Instead Olaf Uhlig (third from right) joined the group.

Day 5. It had been the same temperature for almost five days.

Day 5. Along Lake Geneva/Lac Léman/Lac de Genève/Genfersee.

Day 6-10. I got ill and had to sit in the escort car for the remaining 5 days.

On day 6 something had gone wrong when transfering a GPS-file and from the car we saw Olaf and Bernd take
the wrong way.
